Henry Beston said we need another and a wiser concept of animals, of nature: "They are not brethren, they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth" (The Outermost House, 1928).
I create poems and make images (unaltered, raw photographs) to celebrate them (all that dwell in the more than human world). They are HERE, interconnected (neither their doing nor ours) with us.
